School Uniform

William Lehman Elementary has a mandatory student dress code. The dress code exists to ensure that a student’s appearance does not disrupt health, safety, cleanliness or the learning environment. The Code of Student Conduct contains corrective strategies on addressing students who fail to adhere to the dress code.

Our school uniform polo shirt colors are light yellow, light blue, navy and white. Pants, skirts or shorts are dark blue and khaki. The uniforms are available at Ibiley Uniforms & More located at Kendall Store (11530 SW 120th Street).  Shoes must be closed shoes or sneakers.  No open toe sandals, no jellies, no sling backs, and no clogs.

On Tuesday, we use our red patriotic t-shirt.  On Thursday, we use our peace day t-shirt and on Friday we use our teal school spirit t-shirt.  These are sold by our PTA.

On Wednesday, you can wear your class shirt.  The homeroom class teacher will send information for these t-shirts to wear on field trips and for class pictures.

This is the Uniform Guidelines as prescribed by Miami-Dade County Public Schools and everyone must adhere to them:

  • TUESDAY: Patriotic Red Shirt
  • THURSDAY: Peace Day Blue Shirt
  • FRIDAY: Laser Teal Shirt
